Last night was the exciting Black Cat Ball of the Naperville Area Humane Society. Animal representatives from the NAHS shelter, like Tuck, a five month old Australian Cattle Dog mix and Fred the Tuxedo cat, were walking the red carpet. With cameras clicking and bow ties on, these shelter animals were enjoying all of the attention and hoping to find a forever home through adoption.
The Wheaton Arrowhead Golf Club was a perfect setting for this evening’s event. The golden hues of the trees and the spectacular views of the course were a splendid backdrop for nearly 300 guests to converge, all for the sake of rescuing the animals. Silent and live auctions, along with cocktails, dinner and dancing, made for an unforgettable night of fundraising.
